GILLE - GILLEsound Vol.1 (album)
I’ve been trying to put a distance between me and J-R&B/Pop, not because I don’t like them but because they tend to be a passing interest to me. but GILLE seems promising. album is great. all songs are catchy and fun. got a pretty good pronunciation in English tho I doubt she can actually speak them. Try Again is a great choice for a first track.

Rin Toshite Shigure - i'mperfect (mini)
still a Shigure virgin? i pretty much am. i’ve known of these guys long time ago but only recently i finally add them to my list. quite alike winnie with the dual vocals and unrecognizable English, but the only thing that sets them apart is the noisy rock. winnie is pretty ‘tame’ while Rin Toshite Shigure has more screaming.

Shoko Nakagawa - UCHI-SHIGOTO, SOTO-SHIGOTO!!...
It’s strange how the only times I found Shoko’s song good is when it’s not her song. She does awesome covers but flop at her original, which is pretty sad. she’s seems like a fun girl to be covering good anison all the time.
On that note, Pegasus Gensou is WIN! tho I never watch Saint Seiya.

i barely ever give Kaori much attention since the only reason i started listening to her was because she’s the only I’ve artists i have yet listen to. she’s usually overshadowed by the marvelous MELL, KOTOKO and Eiko Shimamiya. but i think she deserves to be more than just a passing interest to me.
this mini is surprisingly good. mostly are easy to enjoy ballads. the best song...

it’s kinda genius to be naming their band with a generic line in many song lyrics. whenever they mentioned ‘sekai no owari ni’, i giggled. yes. i am strange like that.
